I was surprised about this book because I was expecting it to be a lot of sex and very little storyline.There was a. great deal of emotion surrounding Linc and Kay's relationship. Neither expected the direction the relationship ultimately took, and they also did not anticit the pain the situation brought.
It is not an overly heavy or angsty book, but its definitely not a fluff book. This would be a good holiday read, although it's good any time of year. You also get your HEA.

This novella starts out with a highly sensual meet-cute, and the heat level gets only hotter and more intense as the story unfolds. Lincoln is one of the sexiest, dirtiest, make-you-tingle-all-over scrooges evah. Kandy lacks experience but definitely not pluck, so it's fun watching her give as good as she gets. And there's a lot of most delicious giving and getting.
Filthy Scrooge is a fun, witty, super steamy read that will warm up even the coldest heart.
I have to admit that the cover got me. Who wouldn't want that Santa for Christmas? I have read other books by this author and knew she would deliver a fun and witty story so I went for it. Good choice. This was a Very Sexy but cute story. It did have a lot of sex in it and that is fine with me but it also had a lot of heart. It is a mystery about a CEO of a very large chain of department stores that hates Christmas. As a former retailer myself I related to being tarnished by the commercialism of the season but that is NOT his reason for hating Xmas. There in lies the mystery and the story. It is clever and heart wrenching at the same time. This is a good guy who is burnt to the core for reasons that are not at all what you think. Here comes Miss Happy, Jolly Kandy Kane to the rescue. This is such a different take on a time honored story and you will love it along with the sex and the very sexy Santa. A fun Xmas treat.
OK, I will admit that the cover is what made me download the book. I wasn't expecting much of a story but I figured it was worth it just to get the cover!! -) It is a standalone read with a HEA. It is a fun, great story. I was surprised, again, I wasn't expecting much. However, I found myself caught up in the story and couldn't put it down until the end. I had a smile on my face at the end. I love a story like that. So, do I recommend it? ABSOLUTELY.
The hero of the story is the CEO of a huge New York department store. Christmas is definitely the month of greatest sales. However, the hero is somewhat of a grump and does his best to avoid all the Christmas stuff going on, especially the company Christmas party. He is on his way out as the party planner he hired shows up at his office almost in tears.
Immediately attracted to her and in need of a female to accompany him to his cabin at Lake Placid, he makes her a deal that she cannot refuse. She needs this party to put her company in the black and be able to pay all her employees, she is desperate. However, she has a need that he can fulfill for her so it seems like a win-win. And the story begins. There is LOTS of sex. This guy is a machine!! WOW. He is really a good guy though and he makes for a great hero not to mention that killer body!! A fun read and if you can handle the sexy parts you will enjoy this time away from reality!!! We should all get such a good gift at Christmas.

Going to be honest here. Like some other readers, the cover drew me in. Wow. That is an eye-catcher. I will also honestly say that I wasn't expecting a lot. I download quite a few holiday stories when they are discounted and if they don't work for me, I move along. After reading the beginning of Filthy Scrooge, I thought I was going to move on to the next one. I have not read these authors before, so I didn't know what to expect. After I got to Linc's POV, I was hooked. This story was much more than steamy sexy times. Both of the characters were likeable and shared great chemistry. The dialogue was funny and believable. I was a little "meh" on the conflict, but the story as a whole was page-turning worthy. If not, I move along. I am glad I stuck with this one and ended up enjoying it very much. It makes a great holiday read with a BIG side of saucy.
First off, such a provocative image of a naked man on the cover. I mean, WOW!
Story starts off with Kay dirty dancing with Hot Mystery Guy. Then we find out that she owns and runs a party-planning company and her Santa for the big XMAS party just dropped out. Her client is the Scrooge and has no qualms of denying her payment if she doesn’t supply a Santa for his party…however, he does have a Santa suit, one he’d swore he’d never wear again. Still, he might be persuaded if she made the right tempting offer (btw, he was the Hot Mystery Guy on the dance floor.)
These were his terms She must spend time with him in his cabin for two days. Deal! Of course, Scrooge intends to de-Christmas her in every way.
Kay is unsure about this. I mean, she hardly knows him. How could she have sold her virginity to this curmudgeon?
Story had lagging segments here and there. I was curious to find out why he hated Christmas so much. What was the even that shattered his jolly spirit? Of course, with Christmas being her favorite holiday, Kay aimed to put the HO-HO back in his stocking. And she’ll entice him in every way.
An okay holiday romp with the seasonal message of love and hope.
What do you want to do with a guy who doesn't like Christmas and add a HOT Elf? You get a fifthly scrooge. Kandy Kane has to wear an outfit for the last Christmas party because the Santa Claus and the Elf eloped. So, Scrooge will help..for a price. Yeah, we know where this is leading to. He is rude, crude and too sexy for his own good. But ladies, we wouldn't want him any other way. It is a great book that will have you laughing and fanning yourself. By all means, get this book while it is at the low price of .99 because I say it is worth 2.99. This one is a keeper. Oh...the epilogue is priceless )
